How many children per class?
The Personal Narrative and Response to Literature classes have a maximum ratio of 10-to-1.
Isn’t this the same instruction as they get in school?
No, but it’s a bit more complicated than you would want to read here; we are happy to have a discussion with you about this topic.
Is it fun?
YES! Please read the Testimonials page. We have many students who return for several years.
Are there still spots available in the class I want for my child?
We try to designate on our website as soon as a class is filled. But please keep in mind that your registration is not complete until we receive your payment; part of the registration process includes payment, so please have your credit card or PayPal account information ready.
My child attended last year. Won’t this year just be a repeat?
No. Although the class structure is the same, your child has matured and will write differently now. And, of course, the individual attention each child gets will be tailored to his current needs.
If our plans change, can we get a refund?
Since class size is limited, each registrant is preventing another child from attending. So, in general, we do not give refunds. However, if your plans change early enough for us to fill that slot, we will provide a refund. Call us to discuss your situation.
What materials does my child need to bring to class?
Nothing! We even supply the paper and pencils.
